catholic high concert. JERICHO.
i better start posting more serious stuff. coz i just realised i actually post all those utterly disgusting cute stuff. yucks.
band today was so. hurhur. PT was realli fun. although i suspected everyone cheated by not running the trick slope. lol. drills. took one of the sec 1s squad with charles. gosh. i've never been so strict in my life. i bet the that squad of sec 1s will probably hate me to death for ruining their drills life. lol. but at least they'r learning some stuff. plus factor that charles pumped them today. and they were the ONLY squad who did pumping. but hey. they KNOW what is pumping now. unlike any other squads though. LOL. i'm not bias ok. (: its not as if i like pumping ppl cause whenever i'm made to pump someone, my heart will like break into a million pieces. hur.
took a bit of sec 3s combine. or rather as jordan said, leadership members. hurhur. intonation problem is fixing itself slowly. i'm glad. zeting looked pretty well blended into the percussion surroundings. lol. maybe he was MADE to play percussion instead of oboe. tsk tsk.
lunch. then parade marching practice. instructor was NOT pleased. couldnt blame him at all though. we didnt really practice that seriously and take that much details in doing stuff. but he said he was quite happy with our box thingy. wahah. at LEAST thats something to be glad about.. right? no.
stupid schedule said band ended at 5. when its supposed to be 6. like thanks a lot laaa?
someone had to remind me that our OC oni had one week left. then its either step up to EXCO or step OUT. ok. it sounds so sad. like. we'r leaving one another. something like that. lol.
watched Catholic High School band concert with hayati. zhenjun didnt come! gosh. i'm so disappointed at him. ): hurr. ok. erms. their blazers are SOOO nice. black. black. black. En Hao and that sec 4 flautist looked HOT in it. ok. thats SO not for me to say, eh? lol. they played folk song suite. wahah. but no Eb clar in this piece. sad. then one more piece. which has like movements too. a lot like mr lim's type? lol. then was their junior band. which is really the PRIMARY school section. aww. all of them were like so so so cuteee. this kid was holding a clarinet which was the HEIGHT OF HIM. lol. and they played Sock Hop Tonight and Twist And Shout with all those cute gimmicks. ha. interval. we didnt go look for En Hao. rahs. hayati wouldnt let me. how evil. tsk. alumni band played next. both jap pieces. then. main band again. the conducter [a woman okay. (:] introduced their band and made all the graduating students stand up. then their drum major gave a speech which was realli touching. yeah? haha. then they played JERICHO. and it wasnt just an ordinary nice. more like a VERY VERY VERY VERY nice. you could tell that they worked very very hard for this piece, being their syf piece and world music contest piece. gosh. the last chord was BEAU-TI-FUL. intonation and balance PERFECT. i could have melted if i could. lol. but right then you could tell WHY and HOW they got gold with honours with that piece. though i'm not a huge fan of SYF and its stupid awards, i would have to go with the judges for this band and how they played this piece. (:
i'm definitely going to their next concert. =DD

ate mcdonalds for dinner. gosh. at this rate i'll probably be a thousand kilograms by end june. not as if i'm so self centered. anyway.
